We picked up the win and now it's time to turn our sights on the Portland Trailblazers. We're barely ahead of them in the standings so..."

Lakers Starting 5: Nash. Bryant. Peace. Clark. Howard.
Blazers Starting 5: Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Aldridge, Hickson.

This is as must win as any other game since its time to start separating ourselves from the 10th seed and below and start bridging the gap between us and the 8th.

I don't do the eye candies because we need to focus on winning games, not on stroking our seed to waste. I'm 1-0 in GTs using this minimalism style so let's see what happens. We might as well, right?

We really need to pound Portland into oblivion... Make them want to forget about the rest of the season and serve notice to our detractors that keeping us from the 8 seed ain't gonna happen!

The Lakers are more than a basketball franchise. The Lakers is a collective consciousness, a large part of which is genuine fans.

We got to destroy each team game by game. This game only exists. There is no other existence for the lakers. The purpose of their very lives at this point in time is to show that they truly are the superior team to Portland. And not the other way around. Where Portland will go on top of lakers in the standings.
This is the last game of the season. This is for Kobe's marriage. This is for Dwight's back and permanent image. This is for dantonis job. This is for Pau's children he visits in the hospital. This is for Clark's determination of his next contract. This is for Jerry buss who will be watching..his Lakers
