Improving his image helps... I guess.

But this is going to backfire enormously if he actually leaves :/

Laker fans better start getting used to Dwight because he's going to be around for a while.

Lakers can offer him the most. I do not think he will want to leave and take a paycut.

I think he really likes being a Laker and the media has blown most things out of proportion.

The LA symbol is cool and all Dwight, but it's going to show up backwards in every one of those pictures.

You know, as much as I didn't like him at first (+ his "I want attention" attitude) I really think he will resign. Put yourself in his shoes - you're positioned to be one of the Laker greats............ and you sign with Houston?? He'd get so much flak with that move; A reputation he may never recover from.

@SpearsNBAYahoo: Hornets forward-center Jason Smith will miss the remainder of the season with a torn labrum in his right shoulder. 23 minutes ago

Pretty interesting since Dwight has the same injury.

You'll find out just like everyone else in July. He has said numerous times that he isn't going to commit to anything yet and that "Right now the only thing on his mind is making the playoff and winning the championships" His twitter handle and even his Youtube profile said "After the ring". Again if you know anything about Superman he changes his mind, he may end up in Miami after taking a cut, to secure a ring.

I don't even know how Stephano is able to get away with such phaggotry as rooting for LA and the Heat, but at least he isn't brazen enough to go around and show it in his sig. Pick a team, drop a logo, and stay there.

BlackBerry has to be a troll of some sort. Who goes around openly saying they're fans of the Heat and the Lakers?

Well, I was an Angels fan growing up... went to games with my parents, wore Angels shirts and hats etc. But I also became a Dodgers fan because they were on tv much more than the Angels and I ended up watching a lot of their games. I loved the famer john pregame shows with Vin Scully and interviews with pedro guerrero and kenny landreaux etc.

Maybe those guys grew up Lakers fans but moved to Miami and became fans of their current city, or vice versa.

Or maybe those guys were huge Shaq fans and became Heat fans when the Lakers traded him. Or were huge Caron Butler fans that became Lakers fans after the trade.

Or or they are Filipino Laker fans and also became Heat fans after the Spoelstra hire.

Its a mystery.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

I don't know if there's anything wrong with liking another team, especially if their favourite player moved to a new team.

Example would be Chris Paul. I knew a lot of Hornet fans become Clipper fans because they were really rooting for Chris and wanting to see him too well. Same with Melo and the Knicks.. or Deron with the Nets..

I'm sure if Kobe were to go to another team (laughable), there would be some fans that would follow suit and leave the purple and gold behind. Or more realistically.. drop the purple and gold once Kobe retires.

I'm Lakers through and through.. But would I be ousted for openly enjoying Raptor Basketball?? Not that I do.. :[
