He has a player option. We could use another SF. Would Ariza take a pay cut and pay for us for 3.5 million. It would be like the return of Moctezuma . I know I know worry about the season, but I can't help but wonder

The Pau block on Kevin to start the clip brought a tear to my eye. Nice video find.

Half those alley-oops were thrown by Luke & Farmar.

Ariza, Farmar and Shannon Brown, hell even Sasha... Makes me realize how much we took their young athleticism at their positions for granted. If we have Ariza, Shannon and Farmar with this team we have now we wouldn't be getting blown out in transition game like we are now, those three were incredible at chasing down and getting back on the opponents fast break. We were well rounded at all positions... I remember when people would say Blake and Barnes were upgrades over Farmar and Sasha, well it hasn't worked out for us ever since they left our team =\

Wow, young and athletic. Then what did the Lakers do. Trade away all future #1 picks for older players and sit and watch as the show time went to slow time. And we are a year older this year on top of it all. Those teams would have given the Thunder a great run to the west finals.

lol at you guys..a few highlights and youre all misty. remember all the complaining about farmar/fisher/luke/AB/brown/softpau/odom bricking 3's. I miss arizas ball hawking/finishing not so much his D on melo.
that team was not young and athletic by any stretch lol. fish/kobe/pau/ab/odom/luke are not young and athletic. Just ariza/brown.

Doubt it. Why take a pay cut when he can play for more? Players like Ariza follow the money and I cannot say I blame them.

Ariza not going to throw away 7.5 mill away, especially not with this new CBA in place, he'll never see that type of annual salary again.

Am I the only one here not missing Shannon? I mean, sure he can give us some few highlight dunks but the dude flat out suck.
I miss LO, Sasha the Dragic stopper, Dumbo and Trev though.

ehh not really, remember back in those days we all complained how we cant keep up a fast pace and suck vs young athletic teams. we had no pg that can keep up or defend the westbrooks/rose/cp3...thats including our "athletic farmar and brown" we barely beat houston/nuggets during those runs. pau and odom athletic? haha
might i add mediocre pg's would have career nights thanks to our fish/farmar/brown rotations. I also didnt miss the machine coming off the bench only to foul this defender with his judo choppy hands 45 ft away from the basket.

We could get someone to make a highlight package regarding the last three years..
and post it 5 years later, for nostalgia.
and depending on where we stand 5 years later, we might cry over the amount of talent we have right now.
I remember a lot of bitching regarding that Lakers team. Luke, Farmar, Brown and Sasha were considered scrubs, Bynum had terrible knees that gave him a limited role, Odom was incredible talented but inconsistent with his play, Fisher was old.. Pau and Kobe were the brightest spots.
If we were sitting at 40-20 right now, we wouldn't be talking about this lakers squad.
