What a mess the Laker management has created? Can the Lakers regain their elite status? Yes the solution is the management has to be more diligent assembling a team if the long term goal is a championship. Who stays and who goes? Each position should be accounted for and the analysis should be careful thoughtout and what type of team are you building and who are the stars and who does what (the comlimentary players). Point guard and small forward are vital positions next Kobe's replacement and the aging frontline. Ebanks, Duhon,Blake, Jamison, Meeks are these players capable of holding the elite teams while the stars are resting or having foul problems. The management did not do their homework. Can Phil return and bring his expertise to this team without the nonsense from the management.

The Lakers have been a great disapppointment and the management should be held accountable. This team does not have the quickness at the point guard position to deal with the Russell Westbrooks, Derrick Rose and others. The Lakers need to move in a direction toward younger and talented players. Steve Nash is an excellent player but he has played his best years. Jamison, Meeks, Artest Ebanks, Blake and Duhon where are you. This team sucks when the Lakers play the marquee teams. The solution can Kupchack and James Buss and others correctly do their homework and build a team with younger stars I am not pleased with Dwight Howard and Bynum was injured this year I would have continued with him for the future. Lebron James and Derrick Rose could be the cornerstones of the future and some complimentary players young and quick could be the answer. Laker Nation please rally the management to take full responsibility for assembling this show of mediocre talent. Spending money on has been and not on the future. Where is Phil?
