They could have done Ebanks, DMoney and Jamison, but instead (thanks to the lack of good Lakers wearing #1) compare Morris to Threatt and Scott.

Way to botch one of the best holidays of the year, Lakers.

There's 2 reasons someone gets a nick name...
One is because they are so awesome at something, their name doesn't seem good enough for them.
Two is because nobody can remember their actual name.

Dmoney is the latter.

If the Lakers wanted to be more accurate, they could have shown ..

Sedale Threat, Darius Morris, Byron Scott, Darius Morris again, Robert Horry, Matt Barnes, Derek Fisher, Earl Clark, and Steve Blake.

Naw the real story was addidas was still promoting his Crazy 8 shoe real tough even though he was a "shoe free agent". That's why in the 03-04 season he was wearing all different types of Nike's even though he wasn't signed by them yet.

Anyway to lessen the sale of that addidas shoe switching to #24 put an end to that. That was sort of the gist of it, somebody may have a more accurate telling of the story though.
