I like both. Nash has my ultimate respect. But if I have to choose between the two in life and death it will be Kobe

5 Campionships vs 0
Facilitated his way to 7 finals vs None
Winning record on the year vs sub 500 when he was primary facilitator
Turned talent into winners and defended titles vs never took talent to a finals
It ain't even a choice, its about who helps the Lakers win more, and that was, is, and always will be Kobe. And it isn't a case of Pau vs Dwight or Lamar vs Andrew, where both have equal merit at all, as Kobe has brought us wins this year and for years and he's actually doing Nash's job on both ends just to win.
Kobe could retire tomorrow. I won't lie, I'll miss him after 17 years but I became a laker fan watching Nick and Eddie before him and Shaq. It would just be weird for a while after so long but I'd still be a fan, and I would care if he ever came back let alone suited up elsewhere. Can't say the same for Nash, hasn't given me any reason to be attached to watching him play based on his excellence as a laker or results on the landscape of the nba as a whole (ill miss Kidd more). Nash got to out in some work, slay some SA, OKC, and playoff dragons for me to like or respect his game (same with Dantonis coaching as I've never seen tangible results from them)

That's what happens when you don't spend a ton of time around here. I honestly didn't know this was a thing.
