Why does Kobe not use his post game more?

Like, seriously. He's shooting close to 60% out of the post on mostly turnaround jumpers. He perfected that baseline fade. I'd much rather see him do more of that than chuck up 22 footers that go in and out.
It seems like everytime he plays a heavily post-up based game he has a great shooting night and our team wins.

Because with Dwight and Pau and MWP inside, what this team needs is an outside scoring threat. So Kobe worked on getting back his touch from behind the arch in the off-season and came in with that mindset.
MDA's head would explode if he had another post player.

Every-time he's played in the post we've played great offense with good off ball movement and spacing and the Lakers haven't grasped this since 2008. They kept trying to peg pieces that do not fit in with first Pau & Bynum playing together and pushing LO out of the line up. acquiring Artest when his athleticism was gone and now with Dwight & Pau.
Our best basketball was when we had
Kobe - Fisher - Ariza - LO - Pau.

He was the heart of the triangle and not Pau. having different personnel and coaching system he can't do that anymore. add the mileage and all that banging will gas him out even more.

This. We can post him up with this line up though: Nash/Meeks/Bryant/Jamison/Dwight. But imagine what will happen on the defensive end.

It takes a toll on him. Like badly. Posting up is much more taxing for this old guy.
And it does it a lot as is, on the elbow.

i have been saying this for years. when jordan got older, he was a post up player, just killing everybody with his fade aways. Kobe should do the same.

This. We need to get rid of one of our post players and turn him into a spacer.

So much for the BS that he doesn't sacrifice his game for the good of the team
He could straight up dominate in the paint but we have 2 other options there so he'll let them operate there

The game plan we used when we beat OKC at Staples Center the only time we beat them should be the blueprint how this team plays. Kobe faciliating the offense from the pinch post with Nash as a spot up shooter. Pau right there at the top of the key coming to run the pick n roll with kobe and Dwight flashing under the basket and also cleaning up the boards. But our coach hates post play offense (even if he acts like he's trying to accomindate this for roster sake)
