I think he's going to be a game time decision.

He said he's aiming to come back for game 1 during the Lakers/Rockets game, so there's that.

He's been getting around fairly well, so I can only assume he's been working like crazy on his shots. Should be recalibrated and dialed in nicely. Maybe the stars are finally aligning for us.

50/50

In one hand we need perimeter scoring but in the other hand he's horrible on defense. Without Kobe I think we're better able to compensate for his lack of d. I will say this though that p&r with Steve driving baseline to a pull up jumper is a thing of beauty

He has to comeback and get his revenge on the Spurs. It just has to happen, no other way it sets up this perfectly.

He has been a game time decision for nearly 2 weeks now. He just got two epidural injections! TWO!!! Imagine in how much pain he must be.

He could probably come back against the Spurs. I would be very impressed if he came back in the first game. Two epidural injections!

Revenge? Even though I am a Lakers fan, I at least attempt to watch other teams play.

He SWEPT the Spurs to make it to the WCF finals to play the Lakers in 2010. Common guys

idk maybe you just started watching the nba, but im pretty sure hes talking about when nash was on really good teams in 05, and specifically 07, where amare and diaw got suspended and they lost to the spurs. a lot of people thought that was the real finals and that the suns kind of got jobbed and probably couldve won a title.

That is what pregnant women get. Do not think Nash is giving birth to a mamba any time soon.

He is playing game 1. Nothing like the play-offs to try a new core of Dwight Gasol Nash without Kobe???

Just crazy enough to work.

wife says - having had epidurals twice during chidlbirth - that they are so excruciating you have ot be in absolute agony to say yes, do it. I told her nash had two so he could play and she just looked at me and said, unless you have a baby trying to get out of you, no one in their right mind would do it once, much less twice. so no one should ever think Nash isn't committed or soft. Guy is a Kobe level warrior

IMO, it's not that Nash played, it's how everyone else played because of it.

If he plays more as a scorer, I'd be alright. Still think we gotta let Pau facilitate the offense. Use Nash as Blake had been the last few games. Shooting 3's and threading needles. Instead we're relying on his old ass to do too much.

Just make shots, Steve. We've already got Meeks to miss 3's.

I agree. Nash needs to be looking to feed the bigs in the post every time down early in the game. The offense should start there. This is a terrible pick and roll team. They have no one that can roll or pop and the spacing is terrible with the shooters. Not only that you want the bigs into the game early...especially or their defense. Hopefully that adjustment is made for game 2 and the rest of the series. I still think Nash/Blake need to be aggressive at times but give the ball on the post first and if that doesn't work then attack if needed.

The thing about game 1 was, Nash, pau, and Blake all missed a couple WIDE open shots that they usually hit. They hit at least two of those and the game is tied.
