Lakers Need To Run And Shoot More Now

Being that they are stuck with younger and inexperience players for the most part, I think that their best shot in winning a game would be to run more and faster, shoot and forget then play as much defense as possible. It's not like they have a bunch of old players to slow them down any more

how are they gonna run? whose going to push the tempo and handle the ball? not a single player on this team can handle the ball in transition and everyone outside of dwight is a **** finisher.

no idea why you think thats a good or even possible idea.

Sadly this series is over - I found myself watching the Denver vs Warriors series which was much more entertaining. This is the problem when you try to get old men to do a young man's job

Nah more like injured men to do a healthy man's job. It really was all about injuries this season. I would like to see a healthy dwight come back strong next season. Reality is that is the only glimmer of hope this team has for a title run next season. That and a coaching change. Jim buss needs to swallow his pride.

Was op suggesting a run and gun style because it might catch SA off guard or because he seriously thought it might work?

The only two guys on our roster that have any shot at "running and gunning" are both out with injuries. Meanwhile Dwight and Pau are both playing and anybody that knows anything about those players knows they're the least likely run and gun duo of all time

Nothing else was working. Why not?
