Hawks want to sign and trade him. Why not do a sign and trade for Smith for D12.

First, we can't do S&T.
Second, I'd rather let Howard walk than to give Josh a max contract.

I've wondered this the past month... I knew it was apart of CBA but I haven't found anything on it. Why can't we do sign and trades?

because the lakers salary currently has them over the lux tax (more specifically, 4 mil over the lux tax). starting next season, lux tax teams can no longer receive players via sign n trade agreements. i.e. they could no longer do a trade like steve nash last summer.

Even if it were possible, I would not even S&T Metta Peace & Morris for him, let alone Pau.

No way, do not want. I've got my eyes on the more skilled player, Kevin Love.

Josh Smith thinks he's a stretch 4, when he's not. All he should be doing is shutting down his man, playing the passing lanes, running the floor, and crashing the glass. Instead, he thinks he's Dirk Nowitzki.

A bad Josh Smith idea followed by a worse Raptors idea.

Nobody really wants Josh Smith on the Lakers, except perhaps Dwight Howard... And well, does anyone really think we should let Dwight make those kind of decisions?
Why does everyone want us to deal with Toronto?
And, if we have a trade thread, why doesn't anyone use it?
These are the questions, people... These are the questions.
