It would appear that Paul George grew up watching Kobe and idolized him as a kid.
http://www.9news.com/video/222674631600 ... -hopes-notPaul George adopts kobe's work ethic:
http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/20 ... me-a-star/This guy is becoming a HOFer and in a couple of years will be lebron james rival IMO if he stays healthy and may very well bring indiana a ring one of these days. He does it on both ends and he is only 23.
His jumpshot needs more work perhaps but this guy is going to be a killer. He definitely showed some clutch plays in gake 1 against miami.
Makes you wonder if Lakers should save some money for him...maybe even have kobe mentor him. He is a CA native after all.
Paul hits free agency 2014. Imagine Paul George and Dwight Howard as the core as Kobe exits.

I would think that he too, like Kobe, would want to remain with one team for life.

It shows you something though. It's important to get into the draft if there's a real difference maker there. Mitch is watching this draft to be sure. Shabazz could be another Paul George in a couple of years.
