It definitely blows to be rumored with 8-10 different role player types instead of championship caliber players. At least until next offseason.

To be fair at least the rumored role guys are swings and perimeter help for Kobe ... That need has been glaring for too damn long, and looks to be addressed finally

he's restricted, ain't happening. he shares an agent with earl clark, so i'm guessing the lakers just mentioned it in passing and his agent ran with it to drum up more interest.

Plus he is a disciple from Kobe's All American Skills camp when he was a high school phenom down in San Diego.
So you know if he became a Laker he would play with that Mamba Venom.
Maybe he wouldn't mind taking a hometown discount?
