Two things:
That buy out is pretty expensive
This might mean a trade involving Blake & Hill

man I hope Hill is not included but considering he'll be off the books and one of the likely trade assets, I see a trade involving him possible. hopefully for a wing. can he be traded for an exception so Lakers can sign someone more than the minimum?

yo, I'd even cheer for Ammo if he'll be signed. I can cheer for an old, familiar team and pretend it's like the 2005-07 Pistons than a team composed of random new faces that may just be an afterthought at season's end.
Farmar
Sasha
Morrison/Walton
LO/Powell
Mbenga
DO IT MITCH!

I think the max teams can spend on an overseas buyout is $575k right?
I read somewhere farmar buy out is lot more than that

Welcome back Farmar! Hopefully his game and attitude have matured after his stint in Europe. I recall he actually did pretty well filling in for Deron when he was injured for the Nets. I would hope Blake is expendable now for a wing talent and we don't try to make him a backup SG.

We're using the amnesty on MWP...
Although I wouldn't be suprised to go cheap and trade Blake for peanuts to get rid of his 4 mil deal
minimum> 4 mil

As of 7/9/2013 the Lakers roster looks like..
Steve Nash/Steve Blake/Jordan Farmar
Kobe Bryant/Jodie Meeks
Metta World Peace (Pending Amnesty)
Jordan Hill
Pau Gasol/Chris Kaman/Robert Sacre
10 players, 9 if MWP is amnestied. No real back-up PF, and no starter SF or bench SF, unless Kobe is moved to SF. I wonder what Mitch and co. have planned?
