I'm all for taking on less talented players this season, one inch closer to Wiggins this way. Bring 'em on.

we will be to good to even be close to a lottery spot.kobe,Nash, and pau are not about to let us tank.at worst we will barely make 8th seed or barely miss playoffs in my opinion

Spurs
Rockets
Thunder
Warriors
Clippers
Grizzlies

Will all be better than us by a mile. There's Denver who was a 3 seed last season and sure Iggy was a big part of it, but we'll see how they do. Then you have teams like NOLA and Portland who have gotten significantly better. It is very possible with Kobe out until November at least that we are out of the playoff race by the time he comes back.

nothing to complain about since any possible signing would be for the minimum. that said, i never understood the favorable opinion fans have of him.

It was bound to happen at some point. Good franchises build championship teams that eventually grow old and over the hill that need to be rebuilt. We should be thankful our management was smart enough to do so in a manner that aligned cap space with good free agents. I never agreed with the Nash move at the price they paid, that may hurt them dearly here soon if we strike out in free agency, even if the pick is top 5 protected as it is.

When he moves his bones don't creak. What else do we have to be excited about?

You guys remember that article of cdr saying how much Kobe influenced him in training camp last year. He said he felt likehe was an intern under kobe and learned how to be a pro. If Kobe affected his prepration and training so much, maybe he's become a much better player in a year.
