If lakers get farmar, will no longer pursue Sasha

Mike Bresnahan:If the Lakers get Farmar, they'll have five guards on their roster and won't pursue Sasha Vujacic any longer. A lot of IFs right now...

yea,it could go either way for me.personally I would want both, but that is now out of the equation so either or I will support it.do believe Sasha would be a better choice for us tho

Not buying this yet. Unless the FO isn't using the amnesty at all, that number won't simply stand at 5. Plus Vujacic is more than capable of playing the 3 in spot minutes if required.

We need to fill the roster with min. deals anyways and Sasha can play anywhere from PG to SF.

Someone should teach him how to count. 15/5 is 3 for each position. Meaning most teams have six guards on their rosters.

The deal required a significant financial sacrifice by Farmar to be completed. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound guard signed a three-year, $10.5 million deal last summer to play in the Turkish Basketball League. "They knew about my deal overseas and really didn't push it earlier because they didn't think I'd be willing to give up that guaranteed money I had over there," Farmar said in a phone interview with ESPNLosAngeles.com. "I wanted to be back in the NBA, but more importantly, back with the Lakers. This is the only situation I would have taken a minimum deal with." ESPN.com

As Farmar said to Eurohoops: “I was very intrigued by the opportunity of going back home and playing for the team I grew up loving again. Learning from Nash and coach D’Antoni, playing alongside Kobe again. It was just a life choice that I didn’t want to pass up.”. EuroHoops.net

That makes me welcome him back with open arms.

Ship Blake and Meeks for Ariza. Sign Vuj. Too easy.

We should look up Radmanovic too.

They're probably gonna trade Blake so the issue doesn't really stand.

It was also said Farmar wouldn't happen. I won't put Blake, Meeks, and even Hill being dealt past the Lakers. The cap hit and salary for a Farmar and Sasha is far better than Meeks and Blake. Likewise even the biggest Blake fan can admit he stays fn hurt and his play hasn't justified his deal.

ur right!im fine with giving up Blake but Meeks is solid.he has a nice 3 pt shot and can defend as well..having Sasha and farmar back would be great
