Kobe's mom Pamela rakes in big money auctioning memorabilia

-- 2000 NBA L.A. Lakers Championship ring: $165,889.80
-- 2000 All Star ring: $52,854
-- Kobe's used H.S. Uniform: $48,048.15
-- Kobe's used Lakers jersey: $7,938.45 (less than the H.S. jersey, shockingly)
-- Kobe American Flag Adidas Sneakers: $7,216.25

A lot more was sold. All in all the items raked in $450,000.

A list of some of the objects sold by the auction house. This is a lot of authentic stuff here. Man its a reason they say $ is the root of all evil. Hopefully their family can get over this, especially for the kids sake. Last thing a guy who needs to focus on rehabbing needs to worry about. Crazy to see how much each of these items sold for.

Also I do believe the 450k is the amount before the auction house commission. I know the auction house fronted Pamela some of the money up front also.

They came to an agreement in court that she can sell off 10% of the items i believe

They are replica rings that he had made for his parents. The one made for his dad was apparently the same size that Kobe wears, so it sold for a lot more than the one made for his mom.

you play 4 years in high school and kobe going on 18 years in the nba supply and demand. Plus I'm almost positive the lakers get new jerseys more often than lower merion hs.

His used high school jersey is like a one of a kind item. You won't find that anywhere. His used NBA jersey on the other hand would be presumably easier to get.

But as for his parents, I think it's pretty sad that they would have to sell all these classic items just to make a profit. It's like my parents auctioning off my high school diploma or something. Why couldn't Kobe just pay them or something?
