Forget lebron and melo...

I say go after guys that make us have a more well rounded roster. Of course get lebron if possible but don't spend max money on melo. Lets say LA can't get lebron I say go with

Nash- Jennings-farmar
Kobe- young
Granger or george (if u can get george from pacers since he is a RFA)
Pau-Hill
Bogut- kaman-sacre

That would be a solid line up instead of going after the "superstar" get a bunch of really good players. If you could get george and Jennings they would be the core future. I this team could make a solid run at a title. Should be able to get Pau and Kobe alot cheaper this contract none of those guys would get max deals except George.

I wasn't saying that's the starting line up fellas I was just trying to put guys in their position obviously Nash will be what? 41 or 42 by then? Now that that's out of the way what other problems do you have with it? I mean the team as a whole. If you watch basket ball line ups change alot anyway I can't believe ppl maki g a big deal over me putting Nash name before Jennings that wasn't the point the point was more quality players and depth then just a few good ones at max deals and scrubs. What don't you like about that team? Your opinion would be welcomed not just saying something sarcastic. Tell me what you don't like about it or what you would do then

I also meant to add Caron butler in there if he could be had for not to expensive since he would be another year plus older I imagine butler wont be making more then 4-5 million a year by then IMO

You guys are missing the point of course if we can get lebron and melo u do it but if you can't get lebron don't waste 22 million a year plus on melo he isn't worth it. We will have to see who is out there next year but is rather have if not george then granger and another big like bogut or a young point like Jennings then spend all that money on melo. You guys are getting caught up to much in the name you could get two quality players for the 22 plus million melo would cost that would make the team as a whole better. Melo isn't a Kobe or lebron or event a KD. If we go out and don't get lebron and dump a ton of money into melo we might as well kiss a ring good bye anytime soon. Paul George is the kid that could be the future if we can get him from Indiana even if we had to wait until the season after next. Granger is coming off an injury I have to think he could be had at a discount give him a one year deal to see how healthy he is if he's healthy then sign him long term. IMO this team needs a young pg, wing player and big man. Personally I think bogut, Jennings and George/granger if he's healthy would be a good start as long as they aren't over paid. Unless we can get lebron or this wiggins kid the super super stars aren't around like they use to be. The spurs/OKC way of building a team is the way to go. Get a bunch of really solid players that hopefully some turn into mega stars (like George might) that's going to be the new way to get to a title unless of course you can get bron and melo with Kobe but I just don't see it

i think even Paul George is impossible ... i think he is a RFA and Indiana would likely match any offer for Paul George ...

I would rather hold out a year and make a push for Love.
