This, along with many of the moves I've seen the Lakers do this offseason, proves to me that this Dwightmare will serve as a blessing in disguise for the Lakers. Really bringing everyone back home and restoring that family atmosphere. Great signing by the brass.

His defensive schemes will be a good balance to MDA's offense, specifically that strong side zone we ran during our last championship run.

Okay, okay time for a stupid question from h00ps. But I honestly want to know. With Madsen and Rambis now on the staff, where does this leave that Dantoni brother. Is he still on staff and what exactly are his duties anyway?

Boy oh boy are we gonna need that defensive scheme this season. But remember the old philosophy during the 2 separate championship runs was Phil and Rambis running a scheme to clog the paint and force 3 point shooting. I can honestly say the upper tier teams in the league shoot the 3 alot more efficient these days. We'll see if we can throw some winkles into the scheme
