Harrington said he wants to go to a contender Lakers aren't going to be that next season. He could go to the Clippers.

True but I feel that al would strongly consider the lakers. Look at the amount of teams this guy has signed with over the years lol.

I don't know why but I feel like the Lakers have already contacted him and that he will sign for the the vet min. Pure speculation but I have a WEIRD feeling that he will be ours by Monday.

it's fine by me, everyone we sign is a one year deal so it's not like he ruins anything long term

he also fits the system too

Nash/Blake
Bryant/Meeks

Hill/Harrington
Gasol/Kaman

He'd be a great pick up. recently lost 27 lbs in order to put less pressure on his knees. his last healthy season, 11/12, he was in the running for the 6th MOTY. Hes a stretch 4 that hits the 3 at a good rate.

two big buts, though. 1. he said contender. 2. MDA didnt like him while with the knicks. (same issue with hill, but that changed, so the possibility is there)

Pass.... Man can we actually get a guy in here who can rebound and play defense. Guess people forgot how upset fans were at Jamison horrible defense last season

With Pau at center we really need someone who could guard the paint and rebound well at the 4 spot. Harrington is neither, we don't really need him. Would rather have Odom back

Nope he would be Jamison all over again except probably worse. LO, Ivan Johnson, James Johnson still out there to name a few. I'd personally push to get Anthony Randolph from the Nuggets.

Free Candy would be nice but Lakers has too many offensive optiins imo.

I'd rather have a defensive and hustle big or a young energy big with potential to become a good fit in the long run. 6MOTY LO or James Johnson.

If Al has rehabilitated his knees to at least 85% I wouldn't mind.
But I think teaming him up back with Dantoni could possibly be a disaster.

Would rather have LO and Al instead of going into the full youth/rebuild movement with Harris and Landry. Got a core of Kobe, Pau and Nash who are obviously aged might as well bring in two vet guys who you know will only contribute to good team chemistry. Worry about the rebuild later.
