Tycobb
Spoiler:
Team TyCobb
PG Jerry West "Combine a deadly jump shot, tenacious defense, obsessive perfectionism, unabashed confidence, and an uncompromising will to win, and you've got Jerry West, one of the greatest guards in NBA history."
SG Byron Scott Efficient shooter, plays passing lanes well, and great locker room presence.
SF Adrian Dantley "On the court, the athletic Dantley was as smooth an outside shooter as could be, a force on the inside with an explosive first step, and a master of psychology."
PF A.C. Green The Ironman. Great role player, solid defense, and even better makeup.
C Mychal Thompson Another High BBIQ guy. Great teammate, passer, and efficient scorer. Also great makeup.
6th man: Jim McMillian Replaced Elgin Baylor and led the Lakers to their 33-game record win streak. Was later traded for C Elmore Smith.
Head Coach: Erik Spoelstra Can manage team-first ego exceptionally well. Fits the uptempo personnel of roster.
This team is made up of some of basketball's greatest human beings. Led by Hall of Famers Jerry West and Adrian Dantley, this team will have no problem gelling as a unit nor being highly competitive. The teams' goal was to put together a group of highly successful athletes who are efficient offensively, pass the ball well, and athletic to get up and down the court. Really feel that chemistry should play a big role when it comes to winning. All great character guys.

Spoiler:
Ron Harper Gail Goodrich Orlando Woolridge Karl Malone Elden Campbell
6th Man: Horace Grant
HC: Brian Shaw
Overall, I think my team is a good synthesis of the regular Karl Malone oriented offense with the triangle offense. Since Shaw has the knowledge of the triangle and Ron Harper played the point guard duties under Phil later in his prime, the team has portions of the triangle offense as an option. On top of that prime Harper + Woolridge are athletic players with the ability to run the court efficiently, which could be similar to Denver Nuggets of today, Shaw's current team. On top of that Goodrich is a great offensive option and a shooter who can space the floor, I envisioned a good pick and roll duo in him and Malone. As a result I've got a good variety of offensive sets to break down great defenses. I have a good competitor in Horace Grant who is also good with the triangle, I have to play Campbell at C due to the shortcomings of my team however this also provides a team with good capability to run the floor. In conclusion, I believe this is a solid team that can give trouble to every defensive strategy.

Tycobb...
West and Scott would be an offensive force, and Dantley, Green and Thompson would be very solid Defensively while all being able to score as needed.
Malone was a product of playing with Stockton and wasn't that great in the post season, Woolridge was a fearsome defender, but better used as an enforcer... Goodrich and Harper would have been good but just not better in this matchup.

I'm gonna go with BJGOAT.
It's a tough one, but looked at their basketball reference numbers and really think there's a better balance there.
Ty's got an amazing 1-3, but I wonder, not how they would gel as "egos," because as Ty said these are standout guys, but I wonder as far as effectiveness goes how that would work. Let us remember the team that won 33 games in a row did so only after Baylor retired. West was on that team and just goes to show that despite being a great teammate and a damn winner, chemistry is a fickle thing.
I like Malone, with Ho Grant off the bench.
However, to me, the icing on the cake is prime Ron Harper. Dude was the real deal.

Its ty.
BJGOAT's team is horrible in court spacing, despite Ron & Gail can shot, but it still not enoguh. Also there is no notable defensive players in BJ's team. Ty teams has weaknesses, but in this matchup, they will win.

tough one to decide, i think bjgoat created a strong team with no visible weaknesses. i'm concerned about their fit together. tycobb has a seemingly pedestrian froncourt with most of his talents on the wings (west, dantley, scott). the difference for me is that i'm not sure how bj's team meshes and i think mychael thompson at his peak was good enough to make ty's froncourt passable.
tycobb.

Tycobb. THat offense is too damn good with so many guys with different skill sets to score in a hurry.
