Compare yourself to an NBA player

Post#1 » by SlimShady83 » Thu Sep 5, 2013 1:04 am

Here Is a hopefully FUN offseason thread for you all to enjoy ... hahaha ... Damn! I can't wait for the season to start.

Compare yourself to an NBA player.

We all love comparing NBA players to other NBA players

Kobe to Jordan
Lebron to Jordan
Pippen to Drexler
Kidd to Stockton
Barkley to Kemp
Harden to Iverson
M. Johnson to M. Malone

Yes I’ve heard them all. YOU MIGHT LAUGH AT SOME OF THEM <IF NOT ALL OF THEM LOL, but I’ve heard all these types of talk’s b4 from time after time

So I’m curious to know who you all would compare yourself too

For me personally and my style of play, I use to think I was more like Allen Iverson, could drive the lane almost at will and shoot those mini jumpers and occasional 3. I’ve just started playing again [age 30 esh LOL] and these days I feel like I’m more like Jason Kid - more controlled and a great passer? <hmm.

Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, LeBron James and Bill Russell, all molded into myself.

Oh and I can hit the 3 like Ray Allen in the 2000's. Basically I'm the best.

Always likened myself to Sasha Vujacic - pesky defense, 3-point marksman, don't drive to the basket very much at all but when I do something interesting (good or bad) tends to happen.. lol

Only issue is that I'm 5'9'

Kobe Bean/Michael Jordan, can shoot the 2 from anywhere, can post up, so focused sometimes i ignore other teammates (though i'm good at passing :p ), but can't really shoot the 3 consistently. oh, and i even copy kobe/mj 's shooting form (except that i can't jump nearly as high)

I'm like Kobe, but shorter, lighter skin tone, broke jump shot.

When playing with my friends, I'm definitely like Kobe. I developed a pretty decent jumpshot for an amateur, and really tend to post-up and use my decent footwork, again, decent against amateurs like me. I also tend to shoot a lot, with days when everything goes in, and days when I'm chucking. Then I start to look-around when I feel I'm not hot. :D
