Curious to know how you all think we will turn out for our first 10 games of the season?

In the pre season we won 4 - lost 4

Regular season first 10 games

1) Vs Clippers = WIN
2) @ Golden State = LOSE
3) Vs Spurs = WIN
4) Vs Hawks = LOSE
5) @ Dallas = WIN
6) @ Houston = LOSE ~ will be close
7) @ Orleans = LOSE
8) Vs Wolves = WIN
9) Vs Orleans = WIN
10) Vs Memphis = LOSE

Outcome much like the pre-season I recon we will split win/lose and go 5-5, while I do have faith in our new team I think it might take a while to get it going

6-4... But if we somehow can split the 1st 2 games wouldn't be surprised if we're 7-3. But what we cant do especially with these younger pieces and injuries is start out 0-3 after the 1st 3 games. Just come out of the storm of a November schedule we have solid and the December schedule really lightens up for us

No but one that makes sense would be a start. Seems like you just placed L and W randomly for each game.

People who are saying 5-5 or better need to get their **** together....this ain't the preseason no more
As far as we know,Kobe won't be ready to play in any of those games (considering the Mem game is on the 15th,so he'd need to be ready in like 2 weeks which will not be the case IMO)...Nash is also not healthy enough

One thing is to cheer for our team and HOPE they'll win....another is to pencil wins here and there without looking at the facts
No need to get delusional here,we're a 45 win type of team at best when we run on all our fumes and we're healthy

U Laker fans need to have more faith in our team. I remember last year there were quite a lot of games where we were down like 10-15 and even 20 points in like the last quarter or midway through the 3rd and a lot of you were replying in the game thread and saying the game was over. I kept saying it wasn't and non of you believe me and we ended up wining a lot of those games.

Have more faith:) is all I'm saying.

A lot of you are relying on Kobe to come and see where he can take us etc. I also remember last year I think it was? Where he went out for 7 games and you all thought were going to get screwed and we ended up wining 5 out of 7 games without Kobe.

Again have more faith in our team especially this team I'm liking it:0

I'll come back after the 10 games and see who's the closest

Yeah,I remember none of that....especially winning a lot of those games

Listen,I hope we go 10-0 for what is worth....every fan wishes his team wins every game if possible
But every ounce of logic and bball knowledge tells me that's not gonna be the case,considering all the variables and things we know right now


We're playing 4 surefire playoff teams in our first 10 games and other solid teams like NOP 2x,DAL,MIN + the game against Denver(you had it wrong in the first post,the 10th game is against Denver,11th is against Mem)..2nd night of a back to back IN Denver after we played at Staples the first night....we'd ALWAYS lose this
game who takes place every year it seems,even when we were relevant

We have only 1 game we can't afford to lose and that's the game against ATL.....

It's not about having faith tbh. It's looking at the age and talent on the floor. It's simply not very good all together. I do have faith that the lakers will get back on top in the years to come, but it simply won't be this year. It doesn't mean i'm not going to enjoy watching them play. There's a ton of guys i'm looking forward to watch this year, but it's also good to be realistic.

Looks like some people get it. It's good to have faith on your team but at the same time be realistic. Don't just be penciling in random wins against teams that have our match up. The team is on the decline, not rise. Having said that I will still enjoy rooting for each and every player

5 wins is realistic, but wouldnt be surprised if it was less

I'm going with 4-6 as I think we'll pull out at least 1 road win.

I think much like last season we will start off slow then start hitting our stride throughout the year.

I love what D'antoni has done with this team. Younger, exciting to watch and has vastly improved our defense from what I have seen so far.

Sick of people being so harsh on him just because everyone else is. His offensive system makes sense and he has proven to us all that it is effective. Just because he has a unique offensive system does not mean he ignores defense like most people claim.

He is the perfect coach for this team right now and I'm glad the Lakers held onto him.

From 4-6 to 2-8 depending on the @ Dallas and VS Atlanta games. The @ GSW game and the @ NOP games are on the 2nd night of back-to-back so I'd say they're pretty much guaranteed losses. Our margin of error for any game is so small, games like Vs TWolves definitely won't be walkovers.

i got 6-4. can't believe some of you people going 3-7. we got a sleeper team, we're gonna surprise a lot of people.
