I really like this kid, he is like a poor man's Lebron's freight train when he attacks the basket. I don't know how much he can improve, but so far so good.

I like him too. I think he may be the heart of the team right now... Which is really weird. It seems like we are only as good as he's playing at this point... Which is not good.

But I like his game and energy. He's this season's Earl Clark. Let's hope he keeps it up after teams start focusing on him more.

Yeah, he has been great. Its kind of like the Lakers got a few quality #1 draft picks this offseason with Henry, Farmar, and Wesley Johnson. You hear talk about tanking to get players. The Lakers just got 3 young players with lots of talent that are playing well and have upside! A draft pick is no guarantee you will get anything better then them.

An interesting topic is what do you do in the off season with these guys? And would it be smart to try to extend any now? I really don't even know if that's possible...but if you do it now they might be willing to do it for cheap because Henry and Johnson have both bounced around so much they likely want job security. That would be impressive gming to me.

If you give him a free throw every time he flails, he'd be James Harden ;)

I actually think he will be more consistent and better. I think we have a real gem in Henry. If you remember when he was drafted everyone was saying that he would perform the way he has the last three games. I think the potential is their and he has realized it. I could easily see him averaging 15 ppg a year this year and several years down the road. He kind of reminds me of Ricky Davis. I know a lot of people will get pissed about this comparison. But Ricky in his prime was legit.

Too bad he can't convert'em......if I had a problem with X so far it's his FT shooting
He absolutely needs to work to improve his %,with the way he's drawing fouls....no way he can shoot in the 50's or low 60's with 5+ attempts per game

His 3 point shot is vastly improved,he had like 13 threes in his NBA career until this season, his FT shooting needs work...this isn't an anomaly,he shot in the low 60's before he came

Yeah he definitely needs to improve his FT shooting. I hihgly doubt that was even a priority for him so far given his usage and he has only attempted like 240 FTs for coming into this season.

He is a poor mans Manu Ginoboli... Needs to increase body control to slide around defenders...

I think he will come back down to other. I just don't see his game being consistent when defenses key on him. As of right now he heavily favors his left hand and only uses that hand which cannot bode well. There is lots of room for his improvement so lets see if he can take that step

He's been a surprise this season, but now you can see why he was a lottery pick a few years ago. I never watched him in college, but I imagine him just attacking the rim at will and being able to hit the college 3.

He still can't go right, and defenders will probably catch on sooner or later.

I really like him.
I love that he is always looking to take the ball to the basket.
He needs to be under more control. He is just a little too wild right now on his drives.
He can also pull up and shhot the outside shot.

Right now, he is a poor-man's Harden, with a ton of potential and a great attitude.

nice title snaq.

he's like Lance Stephenson when attacking, full steam. then he blows by you by Euro stepping ala Manu and able to draw a foul like the Beard.

now if only he can convert those FTs like Mark Price...

So when can I buy this kids jersey? He will slot with Kobe perfectly. After let's he honest quiet a few shamozzles from the lakers board they've made some descents moves in the off-season with Wes, X & Farmar. Although they've still got moves to make this season..
