We might have to sign a PG on a 10-day now.

Crap. Now that we are going to get Kobe back Farmar is out for a month almost. Pau's injury doesn't worry me.

I don't think we can sign 10-days yet. I'm not sure when we're allowed tho...

We need to start thinking about trading Kaman for a PG. I mean he's not going to get minutes anyway...

Farmar was balling, damnit! I hope he can come back to his strong play and doesn't miss a beat.

He can't dribble, like Meeks.

Nash is supposed to return to practice tomorrow, so may be that's a welcome break and if Kobe gets back, that's another guy that can run the point.

Blake has a hyperextended right elbow as well. I don't trust Nash to play heavy minutes (even moderate minutes) at this point even if he does return, I don't want Kobe having to play extra minutes at PG either. I think we should really look at signing a stopgap point.

Not going to lie... Mixed feelings about Nash coming back... And for that matter, Nash and Kobe coming back at the same time.

Damn... If that's the case, I think the wheels done come off this bitch.

It was a good run but Blake and Farmar have been playing out of their heads and I don't have high hopes for Nash.

I think it's too late to bring back DJO because the CBA doesn't have an NBA out clause I believe. Just off the top of my head some options:

Darius Morris-Solid defender and there's familiarity but I don't want him because he is a ball stopper, the anti-thesis of this team at the moment. I didn't watch him in Philly so I can't comment on whether or not he's improved since he was on the Lakers.

Shannon Brown-Not a PG first of all, can also be a black hole, obviously a tremendous athlete though. I'd pass also.

Kendall Marshall-I don't know too much about this kid except that he can pass the rock well. Reports say he's subpar in everything else. Pass because Blake is still better even with his injury.

Jamaal Tinsley-Very similar player to Blake as well, more experience obviously than Kendall but I'm gonna have to pass for the same reason-redundancy.

Chris Duhon-LOL.

Sasha Vujacic-#2 on my list. Obviously we all know who The Machine is, played great in his last year with the Nets when given PT and was solid in Turkey as well. Feisty defender and good shooter who can run point reasonably well.

Leandro Barbosa-This is who I would target. I think he's currently playing in Brazil after rehabbing from an injury he suffered in Boston and IIRC correctly reports said he looked pretty sharp, he just didn't get any offers he liked. Not a true point either (better than any of the other combos listed above though IMO) but he's familiar with MDA's system and is still an offensive threat. He's not the playmaker that Farmar is, but he can still score in bunches, and I think you need a guard like that with the bench unit.

There might be a D-Leaguer or some other free agents that I'm forgetting but that' list was just off the top of my head.

wow this has some really negative implications on both offense and D... If Kobe comes back fri we might see the black hole sharing technique justified instead of having him assimilate into the collective mentality that's been developed.

There are some decent options out there now that I think about it-Rodrigue Beaubois and Daniel Gibson are a couple of others I forgot about and who are free agents at the moment.
