Anyone Find It Funny How Much D'Antoni Hates Kobe?

Hate is a strong word, but he's definitely annoyed, and has been for a long time. He's always contradicting Kobe in interviews and calling him out for ball hogging. Kobe never seems to even care either lol. The whole relationship is funny. Mike's annoyance I'm sure dates back to the Suns/Lakers battles of the mid 2000's. It makes sense though, there's probably not a player more antagonistic to Mike's way of playing ever created.

From what I've gathered, he's actually quite fond of him. In fact, he has said Kobe may be the best to ever play the game. As have many who have coached against #24/8.

Yea it's going to be intersting moving forward because it's evident that Kobe's play style isn't suited for D'Antoni's system. Does management get rid of D'Antoni and bring in god only knows who or ride it out.
