Lakers win tonight against an equally lousy team, Slava gets his first game thread win of the season. Kobe played bad last night and this is about to be his 6th game in 9 nights, we need to finish this road trip on a good note.

Conley is out tonight? Isn't Prince and/or Allen injured as well? Should be able to win this one

Marc is out? That means Pau is due for a good game. He has looked soft af whenever we've played the Griz for the past 2 years.
I hope Kobe can cut down on the turnovers. Tayshaun is still the best Kobe-stopper to have ever played, and I don't think he'll have any trouble limiting this version of Kobe

Meeks has to step up though. Since Kobe's return he has turned into the Meeks of last year...

I'm honestly not too proud as a fan to support a tank if it puts us in a better position for the future. EMBIIIIIIIID!

Which I don't understand. Out of all the teams in the nba the Lakers are the last team that should be tanking. This team will consistently be one of the favorites to land top free agents every year as long as they have the cap room. A team like the Bucks or Jazz don't have much of a choice. To land an elite talent they have to go through the draft. Look at the Knicks for example. They are one of the most poorly run teams in the last decade yet still had guys like Carmelo requesting to go there and even at the time draft prospects like Steph Curry angling to drop to be picked by them. The Lakers can suck for the next 10 years and still be one of the most if not the most desirable FA destinations simply due to its history and market value.

If the league caps the salary allowed and still allows player salaries to reach half the cap, you will have rotten scenarios like tanking. Its a product of the circumstances and nothing else.

Don't underestimate Koufos. He is solid.
