PG seems like he could be even better than Kobe... IMO.

Excellent. Tryout for Kendall this year in a PG friendly system. If it works out then it's great because we'd have a solid young PG rotation of Marshall/Farmar.

Damn you win lol. We posted at the same time! So happy. This is a great pickup. Very underrated player that should have been a starting pg in the league.

the tank is not on, why sign a point guard when you have none?

makes no sense

I can see him flourishing under the D'antoni system, he might not be Athletic but his bball IQ is high and he's a pure point guard.

Lets see how this pans out.

Too late :(.

btw, with Xavier, Wesley, Kendall addition, who say we need draft picks in the past ? (Lakers could use the picks better tho)

Honestly he could turn out being our future pg. People forget he was projected high when he came out of college. People thought he has a HUGE upside. This could be a Wesley Johnson but better steal.

Marshall's stats in his stint in Delaware this season:

19.4 PPG
4.7 RPG
9.6 APG
1.9 SPG
46.3% 3PT
79.2% FT

Big for a PG at 6'4, small wingspan though. Can definitely distribute the rock (averaged 9.8 APG in his 2nd/last year at UNC), per 40 has always hovered around 10 APG. Historically not a great shooter but he was shooting well in the D-League, hopefully a sign of improvement rather than a fluke. Should look great in a PG dominated system here.

Me 2. I thought he was going to be a BEAST in the NBA. He would be a nice "big guard" in the triangle as well :D . Not trying to start anything just saying.

In a weird strange way...his passing sort of looks Nash-like pre-injury. Not saying he could be him but remember no one knew Nash would be Nash. I am going out on a huge limb but I hope he turns into our special secret.

Recent lottery picks that have been busts seems to have been working out over the past few seasons. Hope it works again.

Hes clearly a bust as a lotto pick. But I think if he improves his conditioning, handles and shooting touch then he can be a very good back up.

Also, Dleague stats dont really mean much. Remember that goudelock was the league mvp last year. Amd where is he now? Djo was also averaging 20/5/5 and hes not in the league either.

Another steal signing. I'm loving the new culture of the Los Angeles Lakers.

I worry about his athleticism, but he has amazing court vision and BBIQ.

Great passer, suspect shooting. Hope he pans out, seems like a good teammate. Has experience in your system already as he started off last year under Alvin Gentry who ran Mike's system basically. Should be a nice fit.

Suns fan here. Just a little insight on your new pg.

Strengths: obviously his vision and passing. Excels in the open court.

Weaknesses; lazy off the court habits(never put in the extra work), poor half court pg, lack of shooting ability made it harder on the rest if the team(players couldn't get open because opposing players simply didn't have to defend Marshall), and very unathletic. His shot is very ugly and you will be amazed when he does make a shot.

This is about what you can expect from him if he plays a lot of minutes.
5 pg 9 ast 2 rb.

But d'antoni does do wonders with PGs so maybe there is hope.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Only a fan of Arizona teams!

Marshall will look awesome under D'Antoni
I mean, Duhon looked respectable back with the Knicks and Marshall is a great playmaker.
Actually, if he plays well, he could be with LA long-term as a solution from the bench, Nash could be cut or retire, Blake is a FA...

Mike D is going to love this guy, it's players like this that he can work really well with, I can't wait to see what he does with this kid.
