I'm not down one bit with this "tank" BS, but at least moonie has it right in theory. Rather build around a center who can take care of the number one element you need to win long term......DEFENSE.

Agree 100% defense, defense, defense. Give me a guy that can rebound, defend, and alter/block shots. He could average 2pts for all I care.

not only that but my comment is in reference to Deeps build around comment which I assume he meant a young guy coming out of college

I don't like tanking, so let's go 8th seed and destroy the spurs in the 1st round or possibly Portland

this stupid tank **** again, Lakers aint fuggin getting in the top 3 picks this year, that means wiggins, embiid, or that carmello kid aint coming here. If we aint getting those guys I don't see the goddamn reason

I think Big Game meant without the drama,off court distractions,consistent pouting,being a cancer in the lockerroom and a liability down the stretch because he can't shoot FT's

And the fact he wanted to focus on post touches rather than Defense, steels rebounds from team mates, wouldn't run pick and rolls, and never heard of Bill Russell...
