Lets get Kevin Ollie since he has ties to Durant and we might as well get Durant's buddy Kevin Love too.

I hope the Lakers go young and the Boston route with the new hire. It's time to look at some young promising coaches. Last thing we need ahead of the 2015 free agency/season is a coach that has been around the league for a while and already has a negative press about them that would be so easy for the media to pounce on in what is for certain going to be another very tough season.

Byron Scott?
No thanks. He also holds quite a record. Longest losing streak in NBA history.

if frank vogel became available would you guys still want him after the pacers collapse this season?
i'd probably still want to target him if indy let him go

Yes. We should have never let him go in the first place (revisionist history, of course). But Vogel has proved himself to be a very capable head coach.

People are celebrating Dantoni leaving and in the same breath asking for Byron Scott? Ew

I'd go after Vogel if available.
I doubt that will happen though.
I think they probably have someone in mind.
Probably one of the ex-Lakers; either Scott or Rambis, or a college coach....

I wouldn't mind that hire. Whats going on with those players in Indy isnt his fault I feel. He's a really good coach

If Vogel just happened to be let go and the Lakers were to hire him, I can't even began to imagine how different the roster would be next year since 12 of the 14 players currently on roster are terrible defenders.

Lol Embiid might try to force a trade here if we hired Vogel.

They've been playing way above their talent level for the past two years without any really good offensive players on the team.

Maybe they should give Jeff Van Gundy a call. He's obviously still interested in coming back as a coach.

Van Gundy brothers or Vogal are all good choices. I just want a coach who is not complete ass on defence
