http://nbaarena.com/en/news/4718/lakers ... l-interestThe Lakers and Chris Bosh have interest in each other as Bosh nears potential free agency this summer, reports Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio. The Mavs are apparently unwilling to shell out a premium for the Heat big man, as we noted earlier today, and while Amico suggests money may be a stumbling block for the purple-and-gold, it appears the two sides can see a path to a deal. Amico first wrote of L.A’s interest in February.

S&T Pau for S&T Bosh... Plus parts to make it work... I think Miami would be a good destination for Pau if we can't come to terms with him.

Honestly, I think it's a tactic by both the Lakers and the Heat to 1st, get Bosh a good deal from the Heat, and 2nd, make sure Pau keeps his demands reasonable...
Just a thought.

I don't believe it. Unless Bosh doesn't care about winning anymore. Or he plans on taking a very, very team friendly deal.

Not that high on Bosh but depending on what the contract looked like I would sign him over Monroe/Bledsoe/Lowry level players. His defense at C has improved so much since going to Miami. He isn't Dwight but he's definitely nowhere near as bad as Pau. He would work next to Love if we go that direction.. 2 bigs who can shoot & rebound.. Kobe + Exum? + the bench mob penetrating while those guys space the floor. I wouldn't mind it.

I doubt Bosh takes much of a paycut if any at all, so with him on board we dont have cap to offer Love a max deal next year.

Let's assume Bosh isn't willing to take a paycut & wants 20M..
Kobe 25M
Bosh 20M
6th pick 2.9M
Sacre 981k
Marshall 1.1M
7 minimum cap holds = 3.5M
Around 53M in salary.. 66.3M is the projected cap.. 13.3M left to spend.. So we just need Bosh to take a 3-4M paycut to give Love his max unless we sign other players to multi-year deals this summer. I take Bosh at 15-16M over Monroe at 13.7 or similar options every time.

Sam Amico of Ohio?
Isn't that the guy who's had a vendetta against lebron ever since he left the cavs and continues to write nonsense about him and his team even though he has no sources in Miami?

The Defense is going to be Swiss Cheese on that team, plus your also playing similar type players together.

Bosh has a crib in LA but that don't mean squat. Plus I doubt this is real...because who's camp is putting this out ?

The problem is we need to fill tiers 1-3 stat. Hopefully Kobe can be one of those guys, but we'll have to grab a talent like Bosh to complement whoever we bring in next summer.
Remember: we struggled for years with Kobe + Lamar. Guys roasted LO, but Mitch held onto him because he was the perfect 3rd guy.
