Should the Lakers sign CP3 and Blake Griffin this offseason?
Looks like Donald Sterling is going to fight Silver's attempt to force him to sell. If Sterling won't sell, could Adam Silver make all the Clippers players free agents allowing them to sign with teams not owned by a racist?
Lakers have cap space, and they both already live in LA. Plus, they would both probably take less money to be Lakers, leaving enough cap space left to sign Kevin Durant when Kobe's contract to come off the books.
A team with Durant, Griffin, and Paul could easily win 70+ games and multiple championships.

Yes, that will never happen. They are under contract.

Change the SHOULD to CAN and add a big IF after the offseason......
Edit: Didn't see the Durant piece the first time I read it. You lost me man.
Clippers thing could be somewhat plausible if the team isn't sold and the players union and owners allow Clippers to be free agents. However, other owners would throw sh*t storm if we got CP3 and Blake. So highly unlikely.

This is why so many basketball fans hate Lakers fans. There is always that one idiot who thinks we should be able to sign anyone and everyone we want to.

Wait a minute! Let's sit down and think about this reasonably? What OP is asking isn't too farfetched. It could become a possibility that this may be visited this summer. Silver himself mentioned it during that press conference. It would be very easy for many of the guys to keep playing in LA without having to change too much. After all, what the Clippers are currently dealing with are a hostile work environment. I could see an amnesty-like exception taking place this summer if it really came to that.

While the idea is great and all, I think Jessica Alba having my first born is a better possibility.

I like how OP's question is SHOULD we sign them.
As if this little scenario were to happen and they do become FA's would they even be Laker level caliber players or would we pass on them
