To keep track of how the depth chart looks like and see what our options are going forward.

As of today, this is the depth chart

Lin - Nash - Clarkson
Kobe - Young
Wes - Henry
Randle - Boozer - Kelly
Hill - Davis - Sacre

So 2 roster spots left.

we just need a solid small forward and we can make it into the playoffs.
I think we will resign Bazemore or X.

that's why we want pau back i gather...

asik would've been sweet, but pau on a moderate deal seems like a viable consolation prize

 This lineup sucks ass... I guess the Tank-til-16 crew are getting their wish.

I think at this point we should stop with the double-digit contracts and start signing promising players out of the D-League. Maybe find a jem or two.

I just wish there was a way to get rid of Nash and Marshall and get Bledsoe and Stephenson...

Yeah, with this roster, I really don't want to have to deal with the "will he or won't he" storyline of Nash's health this season... If we had somehow gotten a better core, I'd have said, roll with Nash in the off-chance we make the playoffs and he can contribute... But I don't see us getting it done unless Randle and Lin absolutely beast. So we really need to cut those ties.

We should've rolled out this lineup though next year for real I'm so pissed :nonono:

Thomas/Farmar/Nash
Kobe/Swaggy P/Moonpie
LeBron/Deng/Ariza
Melo/Randle/Slava
Pau/Gortat/Sacre

So how much do we have left to spend is the important question.

I've been reading we only pay 8 mill for Lin, Swaggy was around 5 mill, Jordan Hill 9 mill. Honestly it's not looking very promising. I was hoping to sign some young talent instead of just filling the roster with mediocre talent. If we're going to build for the future it's typically smart to sign players with a lot of upside.

I don't mind watching this roster, so far, but I am bummed we kept Nick Young and Marshall.

I'm basically the same, only it's NY and Nash that i want gone. And even then, it's not really them so much as their money.

Lin has a poison pill contract of 15 million but 8 counts against the cap. Same with Asik. Houston looks stupid for the trade now because Bosh resigned with Miami

the team isn't as bad as you guys are making out to be. Our starters will be a little better than last year, but where we can make it up is on the bench.
Marshall and Young should be a great bench.

This team can't be worse than last year so I'm looking forward to this season.
