Camp Fodder
I see him having a slight chance only if we get a full timetable on Henry's situation and he's out for a while

Re: Alonzo Gee
We could use an extra guard/wing so I'm all for bringing guys in and letting them compete for a spot.

I'd like him if he was a better player.

Re: Alonzo Gee
Gee had a career year with Scott coaching Cleveland, why not...It's not like we're going to get anything better with the offseason coming to a close.
Plus Scott said he's a really good defender. We all know we could use some defensive players.

amen, everyone is acting like we can just go out and grab anyone we want. we don't have any cap space to speak of and he fits a need as a defensive wing

Re: Alonzo Gee
I'm not so sold on Xavier Henry for this year with his chronic injuries. I think gee would be a great pick up. We don't have any other defensive swingmen with his size, 6'6" 225-230, and athleticism. He'd be a perfect compliment to Wes.
I wanted metta as a 13th or 14th man for our roster and this guy would be much more useful. I also wanted earl Clark back too. Mitch just outdid himself with Ed Davis and hopefully with gee. I think these small wins in free agency will help us a lot in being competitive for the playoffs.

Re: Alonzo Gee
he suck donkey balls so hard in 2k13-14, so no
i'd rather get earl clark back.. great size and mobility, decent to good defender, can hit long range (when he was with the lakers), and most importantly he hustle and play hard

Metta aitn working back in that door to protect Clark. He got to play stretch 4 on O and then not have to defend the spot on D because !etta took Zach, Boozer, and the like. And to top it off, Earl still got gassed, banged up, and went into a summer being lazy.
Screw bringing Earl back, and screw Gee as well. Scott played the bum, but they were some terrible teams; brown basically cut the guy off and I proved on the Cavs record. Hell brown benched them both and wasn't proven wrong for not wasting his time on them. We already have a SF who can't put two plays back to back or keep his head checked in on both ends with no true perimeter skill in Wes
Shannon is a more useful add with Nash's health, X history, and Clarkson being a rookie who slumped in college when he got in his own head.
