Minutes I hope for

Nash 18/Lin 28/Clarkson 2
Kobe 30/Clarkson 18
Wes 18/Young 28/Henry 2
Boozer 20/Randle 20/ Kelly 8
Hill 20/Davis 20/Kelly 8
2nd string better than the 1st?
Keep everyone fresh and healthy for the playoffs. Rookies get a lot of experience. Kelly at the stretch 5 lets him get minutes and clear space for randle Booz on the block. He can guard a backup 5 for 8 minutes. Hill and davis stay healthy at 20mins.
If Nash goes down give those minutes to Clarkson at pg and give X those minutes at sg. If Kobe goes down x gets those minutes.

Too many damn players..no way we use a rotation that deep
In an ideal world(no injuries/no foul trouble)
Nash 20 mpg/Lin 28 mpg
Kobe 33 mpg/Clarkson 15 mpg
Johnson 23 mpg/Young 25 mpg
Boozer 26 mpg/Randle 22 mpg
Hill 28 mpg/Davis 20 mpg
Not necessarily what I want to see (I hate Boozer),but I think will happen....I can see Clarkson being jumped out of the rotation for Ellington or Henry at some point though
10 guy rotation is more than enough

I just want the lakers to develop randle and make him our starting PF for the future instead of babying him like we do the rest of the rookies. let the dude play and condition the hell out of him. don't really care about anyone else as i don't see any of them in the lakers future plans. they're all rentals except randle.

This is the 10 man unit we'll likely see, Byron could sub out Clarkson for either Henry or Ellington. My choice is to see JC play, but if X is healthy he can provide some points. I agree with the front line guys to RO, I don't want Kelly or Sacre seeing no parts of the floor for big minutes.

i hope our rotation would look like this:
Starter / Bench / 3rd string guysLin / Nash / Price
Xavier / Clarkson / Ellington
Kobe / Young / Wes
Randle / Boozer / Kelly
Hill / Davis / Sacre
i doubt it though, and i can see our rotation much like what ROballer post.. but atleast let lin start.. im tired of seeing our PG getting destroyed everynight for the last 2 years

At some point I would consider switching Davis for Hill. Hill has always provided a solid 20-24 mpg off the bench but we've seen that Davis plays well as a starter. I would also tell Davis to start bulking over the course of the year as Odom did in 05-06 to get ready for the playoffs (hit 240-245 after being 230 to start the year). I would keep Randle on the bench next to Hill, with Boozer the starter just to make sure Boozer plays next to the better defender.
We'll have to see how the Nash situations plays out. At some point either Price or Clarkson should take that spot and L.A. should get another SF like a Harrison Barnes to push Johnson to the bench.
PG- Clarkson (20), Lin (28)
SG- Bryant (30), Young (18 at SG, 6 at SF)
SF- Barnes (25), Johnson (17), Young (6)
PF- Boozer (20), Randle (28)
C- Davis (24), Hill (24)
That's my end of the season minutes chart.

I think we shouldn't pencil in Nash for any minutes, he's already bothered by nerve problems and it's 3 games into preseason. I think Lin should get 30 minutes at PG (more if he can handle it) with Clarkson/Price splitting the rest.

I think Lin should play PG as starter unless Nash is fully healthy and I think he can handle more than 30 minutes. If Nash starts and he's in and out of the lineup, it'd be kinda disruptive. I can certainly understand that he deserves a certain kind of respect tho.
It seems to me the combo of Clarkson and Nash would work pretty well as the second unit. Clarkson is better suited to play SG and he can take some ball-handling/defensive responsibilities from Nash while Nash can concentrate on facilitating and spotting up, playing against lesser opponents. I think Lin probably works better with Kobe than Nash does also.
So:
PG- Lin 33/Nash 15
SG- Kobe 33/Clarkson(Henry) 15
SF- Johnson 22/Young 26
PF- Boozer 22/Davis 11/Randle 15
C - Hill 22/Davis 15/Sacre(Kelly) 11

Kelly (14) - Randle (20) - Boozer (14)
Davis (28) - Hill (20)
Reserve: Nash - Johnson - Jesus

kobe, randle, lin…only 3 players I want to see on the court. the others are just, as phil puts it, 'space cadets'

Can Young go for 30 or lower 30s? He may need to with this roster.
Lin may have to go upper 30s at times, especially against the tougher teams.

Lin
Kobe
Wes
Boozer
Hill
Randle
Clarkson
Price
Davis
Rotation to begin the season, possibly sprinkle Ryan Kelly in there at times. But, lot of pressure on Lin, Kobe, Clarkson to be big early.

You can throw Ellington in there as well. We need him to produce early.
