He'd be a great backup to Lin and an upgrade over Price. Love how feisty he is, I like him as a better version of Nate Robinson. Not as good a shooter but much more consistent in attacking the bucket and he has that x-factor element to his game especially coming off the bench.

The story on him.....

Compares to : Patrick Beverly

Not a great 3pt shooter.....career is 28%, never shot higher than 32% in his 7 year career.

Has a nice penetrating game

A solid on ball defender

I doubt the Lakers sign him, the team as they always do will leave that 15th slot open. The question is what's the most likely position we fill the slot with ? Even though the 1 and 3 and 5 are our weakest position of depth.

He's much better than Price.

Price is a competitor and all but I'd be shocked if he scored four points in a game.

Cut Sacre. I like Bynum's game. He's a scrappy type of PG and gets his buckets in the paint.

Price has played better than most have expected though. We just have to see how he continues to play throughout preseason.

Will Bynum would not start over Lin. Will is just insurance when Nash isn't available and Lin misses games.

We are hungry for outside shooting and that's something that Will Bynum does not provide. I just would imagine him, Swaggy P shoring up the 2nd unit when needed.

Ray Allen for the minimum....doubt it

PG seems like he could be even better than Kobe... IMO.

Who is the better set shooter between Price and Bynum? Bynum's overall probably the better player. Price has the size, but I'll take both on the team.

Really could and should. Lin could just play more 2 as could Clarkson. And it may be a necessity since Ellington can't hit a fn shot, Wes is Wes, and Swaggy/X are both hurt. If you don't factor Nash into things, penciling in Lin and Clarkson with SG minutes while Kobe plays 10 or so at SF could tide you over till December. I know I'm laughing at guys who compared Ellington to Meeks right now.

You can very easily start Lin with Kobe, Wes, Booz, and Hill (should be Davis) .... It's just a matter of inserting. Bynum when Kobe goes out, Clarkson when Wes goes out, and Price when Lin goes out.

Lin Kobe Wes
Price Kobe Wes
Bynum Lin Wes
Lin Clarkson Kobe

That's doable till Young gets back, just cut Sacre and/or Ellington

Lin can play next to this version of Kobe who is more of a post-up player as of now. The starting five with

PG- Lin, Price (seems to bring energy)
SG- Bryant, Clarkson (can feed off of Price)
SF- Johnson, Young (when he returns)
PF- Boozer, Randle
C- Davis, Hill

That's likely what you have right now. They may bring in an extra SF if need be for defensive purposes or move Randle there at times with Kelly at PF.

That would be a great pick up for when Nash picks up luggage at his house

Well, now it makes even more sense.
