Chris Copeland?

Before anyone asks me, I'm a Raptors & Lakers fan for life.

Anyways, I via wiretap that the Knicks are interested in Chris Copeland. I think Copeland would be a great fit next to Kobe. He has great hands and can spread the floor. Lakers roster has a plethora of shooters that the
Pacers are looking for.

Which trades would you guys propose?

there are ZERO legit shooters on the lakers, the best one being Ryan Kelly, who is yet to play this season.

Isn't Copeland already in his 30s?

He's 30, but what does that have to do with the OP?

Just don't want to waste min on a guy who has already missed out on reaching his potential?

Copeland is supposed to be a shooter right? Why would Indiana trade him away for another one.

Of course we have shooters. Kobe and Young.

Shooters who actually make shots? None.

Pretty much, I'd rather get someone younger with more potential.

haha OP thanks for the laughs, not about the question about the plethora of shooters we apparently have.

None the less. i don't want the Lakers to make any sort of trade until R.Kelly and Young come back and start playing :) we need to see what we look like when they come back.

I just can't wait long enough already

Believe it or not, JLin is actually the best three point shooter on the team so far.

Boozer for Copeland? Boozer can be counted as a shooter?

You used the words "plethora" and "shooter" to describe the Lakers. I don't believe you fully understand the meaning of those words.

I remember the Lakers trying to go after Copeland I believe 2-3 off seasons back but he ended up choosing to sign with Indiana. I'd much rather see the Lakers go after a young player with potential (Quincy Miller) than Copeland who has already reached his ceiling and is already 30.

Unfortunately, Boozer cannot be traded.

Agree with Fresh360Waves, Copeland is a finished product. Go after youth and develop it to flip it.

Kobe and Young.

I wish we had a Young Kobe... aww those were the days....

I guess the 09-10 championship run, we are paying the price now. D12, Nash, and others. Lakers paid the price to win now and worry about the future later on. Well it is later on.

If we keep the top 5 pick, with Randle, and a young free agent signing. Not a bad restart.
