Why is everyone blaming Kobe for shooting the ball more?

Post#1 » by KobeKenobi » Mon Nov 17, 2014 11:33 pm

I don't understand why everyone is blaming Kobe for shooting more. The guy has to shoot a high volume. Do they not see the roster? We got Wesley Johnson in our starting line up. I don't know if Johnson would be starting on some of the D-league teams out there.... Our 2nd best player is Jordan Hill, and he would probably come off the bench for any other team.

Seems like Kobe should get a good 30 shots per game...Boozer and Hill should get a nice portion of shots. But other than that, I don't see anyone else that should be shooting the ball whether open or not.

Because his teammates won't put forth the effort on defense if they're not touching the ball on offense.

Apparently the team is made up of a bunch of 20 PPG scorers.

It's not like any of these guys can even create their own shot. I'd like Byron to make a statement next game, and start other guys around Kobe:

Clarkson instead of Wesley Johnson
Ed Davis instead of Jordan Hill
Ronnie Price instead of Jeremy Lin

You know...start people that are hungry for minutes and willing to put forth more effort.

I think we may literally be talking about this issue in every thread on the front page... No reason for another one.
