We have to be realistic here. The only reason laker fans go to laker games is to see Kobe perform. They are not going to a game to see Wesley Johnson, Jordan hill, and these other sub par players play.

Its about Kobe getting the scoring title and passing MJ on the all time list while getting that top 5 pick.

I don't understand why the media is spinning this, and are adamant in criticizing Kobe's game. It almost seems like a smear campaign. All they do is find a reason to whine about his shot selection, contract, etc. As if playing team ball or taking less money would have made a difference.

Laker fans who actually support and buy tickets look forward to see Kobe play. This team isn't winning regardless of who shoots the ball...team ball...individual ball...smash mouth ball etc. So we might as well plan our games to get Kobe as much points as possible.

Winning a scoring title on a historically bad efficiency will be more embarrassing than anything worth celebrating.

Forget a scoring title. Although I do believe he will average around 43 or 44% efficiency when it's done. It's just not good for his body.

Kobe doesn't want them. He should have gone for it when he needed very little to get it from Durant. Kobe don't play that game.

i think this will be the first time in the last 5-6 seasons i won't go to a lakers game.
