That's not a bad sign. You would think the bench would outplay the starters based on having Lin, Boozer, and Young.

He also gave a not so subtle message to Kupchak to get him a PG that can play next to him.

I think it's kinda hilarious that this came after a win and not after the losing streak. Guys must have been taking it easy after a win

Lin's mom probably pushes him harder than Kobe could.

If we aren't going to sell off talent and pack it in this season (as others have noted a top 5 pick is still not great odds), then I'm all for Kobe riding this team and Mitch.

Nobody should be happy or content with the crap they're putting on the court--especially not Kobe. And we can talk about his contract, and that he can complain all he wants but it doesn't excuse the fact that he has almost zero leverage...but despite all that, I'm glad he's fed up.

I know he's come in with a different mindset this season, now he's all about "the process" and not championships, but to be honest that's not the Kobe I want to see.

I agree with Darius Soriano, Scott should lower his minutes so he can actually practice with the team, IMO. Last time he didn't the team was weak as hell. If your best player can't lead by example every day it frays at the fabric of the team.

Thank you Kobe. When your GM puts out garbage product like this on the court I'd be fed up too. I mean Jeremy Lin and Ronnie Price? That's like a slap to the face.

99% chance that Byron was standing, smiling with his arms folded across his chest while Kobe went off.

From the couple games I watched, isn't the starters the group that usually trailed, and the 2nd unit gained the lead back?

Which games are you referring to?

I think the 2nd unit today was Lin-Ellington-Young-Boozer-Sacre, which has 2 former starters.

The reason why we have a crap supporting cast is because Kobe signed that crazy contract
