The Lakers are good at beating good teams which is odd. Let's see what happens in the first game of the year!

Zach still dealing with a bad knee, doubt he plays and if he does he ain't doing 30/20. We hung with the Griz pretty well the first time, then we had the bad 3rd quarter. Since then we've been kinda decent to start 3rd's now...I think we take this game if we can keep Marc contained.

Well you were definitely right on them being at the top on Jan. 1...so I give props there I can admit I was wrong on that one. I based a lot of that on thinking the Cavs would hit a switch, hell the only thing they've done is stay stuck in neutral.

Not odd bro, Lakers been doing it for years, a lot of guys on here tend to forget that, Lakers just lose to the boring teams < saying it politely
Go Lakers!
Or should I say
Go Facilitator!

We played the Grizzlies pretty good last game but the 3rd quarter killed us, in the first game against them we played them great until the 4th and they created a 17 point lead that Kobe got down to 3. So I think we have a good chance of finally winning one if the team shows up.

Looking forward for Kelly to get back out there tonight. Dude was supposed to be having a hell of a training camp before his hamstring started acting up. Also, he might be one of our most appealing trade assets.

I don't know why you'd want to trade kelly. I'm not as high on him as Miles, but when he's actually been on the court he's shown he can shoot, defend and see the floor and he's on a rookie contract

I'd prefer not to trade him, but it takes money to make money. Other than Randle, Kelly is one of our few assets (with Hill, Davis, and Lin). I'd love to keep him, but hopefully his hammies abide.
That said, if we can upgrade our starting PG or C by trading Kelly and a player we'll likely lose next season (say, Lin), then I'd do it. Going forward we'll have Randle at PF anyways, so to me Kelly will always be either a glue-guy starter or a nice 7th/8th man in the rotation.
If you can secure a key starter for 2 role players, you consider it.

OH sweet as Kelly is returning? I miss the dude.
His first ever NBA shot was a 3 point shot and a And1. You just can't get better then that.
Kelly/Young dynamic duo:)

Team needs to gang rebound and get out on breaks. We'll have a chance as long as we don't make this a half court game.

Kobe with a consecutive triple double while the Lakers get a convincing win with the team shooting over 50% again. Book it.

You make some good points crazy. Turning him into a starter would be ideal, I don't think we really have the time to be developing projects at this point
