You'll see..he will get even more mins eventually, and start putting up double doubles + elite shot blocking.
Kinda wish he had got opportunity earlier in his career. He was blossoming as a raptor, when bargnani got injured. He was putting up 15/11 on high efficiency.
You guys got a keeper! Enjoy speshal ed

Jermaine Oneal was an all star at 23 years old. Ed Davis will never be as good.

Yes but ed davis is not too old to become a solid pf. Give him a confidence boost and he will blossom.
Jo was given a chance and look what happened!

He has TAKEN 6 shots outside of 8 feet this year. What kind of basketball player can't shoot?

Ed Davis doesnt have a legit face up jumper or post game like Prime J.O. did. Two totally different playing styles

Davis is basically scoring double figure points in every game and that is without the offense being ran through him.

Someone has no idea what type of player Jermaine ONeal was in his prime. Maybe the OP meant the Jermaine ONeal of today.

I never meant he will turn into a superstar amd mvp candidate. I meant he will blossom into a good player by getting the chance.

J.O.'s post up fadeaway on the baseline was money. His defense was above average and he was a better passer. Very similar game (but better D) as compared to LaMarcus Aldridge.
Ed Davis ceiling is Marcus Camby

I thought Camby developed a pretty good jumper later on? He was just brittle.

Amare was a system guy... So as long as you accept Jeremy Lin as Steve Nash-lite, then you might be able to buy Davis as Amare-Lite.
I think they're similar but I think Amare had a much better offensive game, and maybe not quite as good on the Defensive side.
Maybe Marcus Camby-lite... Which is ironic all things considered.
