Clarkson, Sacre, Kelly, Ellington and Hill is the starting lineup. I'm not kidding.

Another step towards securing our lotto pick. 5 years from now a lot of these teams that are beating us will hate us and they will be just like we are now.

So Byron completely changed the starting lineup except for Hill, I missed the first 3 quarters is Kelly playing good as well?

Wow is this the first time a game thread doesn't have over 12 replies?

Just like this thread, I expect attendance at Laker home games, hell, maybe even away games, to drop big time now that Kobe is pretty much bound to be done for the rest of the season.

This has to easily be the worst Laker season/roster ever. I guess that frees up more time for OT at work  :(

Will Byron still be the coach for next year? He has been a good coach for tanking so far.

Scott's just pi$$ed at Pop resting his players at Staples. Retaliating for Sarver and Stern.

Clarkson had a good game, loving his aggressiveness so far. Byron is making him play off the ball a whole lot but I'd like to see him use his speed with high pick and rolls with someone like Boozer, Davis or Kelly.

Good win for the tank. I'm assuming Black also will be in the starting lineup soon once he recovers and we will probably try to deal Hill soon.

Wut... no playing time for Lin... I mean I'm not the world's biggest fan here, but he's one of the only players who is a legit NBA talent. If they want to tank so blatantly, why not just roll out five cheerleaders? At least it'd give the fans more reason to watch the game.

I keep seeing 3 guys standing around when Hill gets the ball, as if they know he won't pass it. The only dude who does move is Sacre, and he's getting in position for offensive rebounds. The thing is, every so often you see shades of great plays drawn up by the staff. There was one play where Hill caught it in the LMA area while Ed was fighting for position on the block. Someone flashed middle, and 2 swings later Ed got a layup. If we could see more movements like that instead of post ups with no movement, Scott would at least be able to calm some of the fans. At least Hill looked like he was having fun out there.

Wayne is a long 2 black hole. Boozer is trending that way as well.

Sacre has perfect form on his post moves and jump shot, yet for some reason he consistently manages to air ball them.

Kelly has become so passive on offense. Good flow to the offense with him on the court though. The couple plays he posted up Danny Green turned out alright.

Clarkson scores best when coming off p/rs. Him and Wesley J are probably the 2 best perimeter defenders on the team right now. I know TP was scoring at will tonight but Clarkson was sticking with him on most of those plays. With better help defense, TP doesn't get those layups.

The announcers were mentioning something about Lin's injuries from the Pelicans game???

One play I got to mention is a beautiful defensive play in the 3rd. The Lakers took away all of the Spurs options after the Spurs made 3 passes along the perimeter, and it eventually cumulated in Ed Davis ripping it away from Splitter.

Wesley J's drives need to stop ending in jump shots.
