Not a whole lot said.... said that he isn't sure if the management will make moves.... but we all know there is probably a couple of deals on the table... says that Nash is starting to get engaged with the team and says Improving the team in the off-season is a priority.

I saw the comment about maintaining "maxium cap flexibility" and how hard earned it was.....well a lot of good that cap flexibility did for us last summer. All we got to show for that is Lin and a pick in the 20's. and given that statement I foresee mgmt. doing dittly squat to obtain more picks.

Cap flexibility isn't even a hard earned thing anymore when the deals are stipulated to be shorter and free agency being an yearly circus. If anything Kupchak and the Lakers did the opposite of maintaining flexibility by giving Kobe the deal he received.

I think what's probably been hard is their restraint (aside from Kobe). And let's not act like they haven't had to piece a roster together top to bottom two off-seasons in a row. Plus hire a coach. Plus make sure none of those contracts interfere with their long term plans.

I bet it makes negotiating a tough process. Along with having to scout much more to scrape the bottom of barrels.

Essentially, putting together the worst LAL teams in decades was harrrrrrrrrrd.

Cap flexibility isn't that hard to earn when you hire 2 coaches that go no where. Your team sucks so there's no talent to trade for or sign long term.

Its a shame that we tried to hit a home run with Melo or Lebron but what we should have done was try to get Lowry.

I think the FO just doesn't want to make a mistake. They worked hard for cap space that they almost have never had and didn't want to just throw it around on players that could end up being busts. A little bit patience and I think we would see that the FO made the correct moves. I think we can all agree that it was good that we didn't overpay for guys like Lance Stephenson

I hope they go after Greg Monroe. Offer to build him a statue next to Chick.
