Lakers vs Nuggets Tuesday 7:30 pm

After a demoralizing loss to the Cavs, your Los Angeles Lakers return to take on the most indecisive team in the nba. On the mile high side of things, everyone has started throwing everyone else under the bus, with the most recent one being Afflalo saying Shaw sucks iirc. With Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried swirling around in trade rumors, the team is in turmoil, and not the good natural tank kind. The trade deadline may very well see the Nuggets come to a decision on their future. On one hand, Lawson and Wilson Chandler are both in their primes, and Lawson doesn't exactly project as a guy who will shift well into the next phase of his career. Keeping both and swapping the assets they gained from the Mozgov trade would help the team, but it probably won't propel them into the playoff picture in a brutal western conference. On the other hand, they have an interesting young player in Nurkic who has been in a little bit of a slump??? Will they tear it down, or will they keep chasing the playoffs?

On the Laker side of things, the adventures of Black Kelly Clarkson continues. Two of the 3 have shown progression as the season went on, while one of the 3 lifted her skirt for a second only to pull it right back down. According to Facebook (1), teams are still interested in Hill. I personally think that our wings are the most tradable players on the roster, but apparently teams really value mid range jumpers and post defense. Some food for thought in regards to Lin: Why would you trade for him when you can give up the exact same assets for Mo Williams, who has more veteran experience and doesn't require you to match 8 mil in salary?

They are essentially playing to get Shaw fired so this is likely a win like Cobb speculated.

Damn. Hawks getting that Brooklyn pick. I like the Hawks.

Denver may very well be a bad sports town if Manning retires and the Nuggets stay suck-y. Dreams coming true.

I think someone on the Nuggets board mentioned that the team wanted Nurkic to undergo some rookie hazing, but he said he didn't want to, and his teammates were too scared to make him follow through on it.

I ain't mad at Scott. He's doing exactly what the Franchise needs for the future; developing Jordan Clarkson and getting a top draft pick.

Its why they haven't fired him yet?

Give him one full season with a proper squad and no orders too tank - he'll do fine.

BScott is doing just fine.. The only starter not signed to next year is Wellington so he is basically thinking of the future.

This season is nothing at all about Scott... The lovechild of Coach K and John Wooden couldn't win with this roster.

What happens this season doesn't make him a good or bad coach.

No being sub 500 all time, fired from every spot, and having his players turn on him every stop make him a bad coach. He had that locked up long before he was hired, which again henwouldn't have been had Melo came or else they wouldn't have interviewed him three times and would have been locked him up before the draft.

And I'm going on record Phil would have had this team in the playoffs ... But that's Phil

Hard to believe the nuggets are the last team we beat in a playoff series, seems so long ago

I think we win tonight, Denver is in shambles and looks like B.Shaw will be getting the boot if things don't change.
