To hear he blamed himself (Colorado) on Vanessa's miscarriage was more honest than I expected. That was the most wow thing.

It was also interesting to hear him say as a rookie when he didn't play a lot, he would go out and drive around ucla at night and look at students in groups and ask himself did I **** up, and was he not ready for the nba multiple times

 I just ordered Showtime Monday because dish sent one of the little postcards in the mail that said half off for 6 months. This was a bonus because I just ordered it to watch House of Lies

Huh?

I cursed at the opening a lot with them replaying the Achilles pop so slowly, but to me it was a good candid approach so far. It comes off better than his other stuff becaue he isn't being bleeped out and isn't playing off anyone. Iti me was a Mayweather like interview, idgaf throughout approach.

Going to have to take a. drink and maybe shed a tear when he really retired though. It makes me feel old watching videos or rookie AI and Allen in this doc and realizing they are retired. Hell nknowung who Battle was on the hawks was weird because I thought people knew who these guys were and then they're telling you this is almost 3 decades ago. When Kobe, Tm, KG, and Dirk retire it will be a totally sad nba experience.

Lol. I did laugh when I saw the Kobe and Tyra song. I had tried to forget about that. It was cool to see a in the house clip of him on their set though. I remember him and fish on there.

This made me wonder if he will do another documentary for them and focus on Phil ai nice Phil certainly made the last 2 books about him largely

This is the movie I hoped Kobe doing work would be!

Between nba tv the interview which was a fun fluff piece, grant land, kimmel, and muse we got 4 hours of Kobe being honest.

My only gripe was they skipped the 6 game 2013 comeback and how he rushed back 6 months after surgery. I guess they didn't want the average viewer to get bogged down. But there have been 3 straight season injuries and rehabs. They focused on 2.

I was thinking at the end w the shoulder mang this just happened a month ago. Already in a movie. Loved how Kobe kept the project going.

Muse was originally to air fall 2014.

I want to see a dark side clip w/ Kobe talking about playing angry. This movie shows why Kobe always played so great when he was angry.

I think kg and Kobe would have been perfect teammates.

Kobe would have been a great duo with any of the three guys he lobbied for back when ... JO, KG, and Kidd. He could have fed off them and him off them attitude wise. I remember also wanting to trade Shaq back to Orlando for Tracy was back when just because I wondered of they could repeat Michael and Scottie

Kobe is like the Magic/Kareem of my generation. I imagine I'd feel the same way old timers felt when their generation of Lakers' great retired.

I can't wait to watch this documentary.

Very well made, I thought the ending was a little abrupt but maybe because I saw some cut off online version . Kobe's latest tour of videos/interviews (interview w/ ahmad rashaad, grantland, muse) have all been amazing.

The movie was good.

The thing I've enjoyed the most the past couple weeks though is the GQ article. Went in depth about the Lakers front office, Colorado (and the prospect of jail time, being scared, etc). Think everyone should check that out.
