Still a bit early, I'll give you that, but I'm so **** anxious ... Let's discuss it here all things regarding the Summer League, not necessarily just about the Lakers, although that's our focus of course

So far, apparently we have 9 guys on the team if they manage to stay healthy:

Jordan Clarkson
Julius Randle
D'Angelo Russell
Tarik Black
Larry Nance Jr.
Anthony Brown
Jabari Brown

+ 2 camp invites

Robert Upshaw
Brandon Ashley

Anything less than the SL championship would be disappointing.

The Wolvez are stacked as well but I agree....we're deep as **** and should contend for the title

Nance Jr will dunk on Wiggins and Upshaw will reject every one of Towns's attempts in the paint

I don't give a crap about the SL championship. Let the guys show some flashes and keep everyone healthy, especially Julius.

Nah man. If these young players contend and show hunger in winning a Summer League title, imagine what it will do to their mentality going into the season.

Lol only Clarkson and Black have played with each other at any significant length of time

Things aren't going to be all roses straight away

I can't remember, did we make separate game threads for each SL game or did we just pile them into one discussion thread?

Some years differently, some yrs in the same thread... I can see this year doing separate threads, the discussions will be at an all time high at this point of the year


I mean, we'll probably **** over the past RS game threads like it's nothing

Upshaw comps:

If upshaw could just be a 8 and 8 guy with good defense we are set man

Whiteside comp is EXACTLY what I was thinking about too moonie...

Decent roster there, hopefully some half decent SF projects out there we can invite, that position is extremely weak.

Based in Mitch talking about Randle and his position, I would think that it may be Randle playing Sf. Then again, maybe Nance has the ability to guard wings? Regardless, I think he is an upgrade over Ryan Kelly.

I actually think that because this pick has not been predicted by the mocks that the Lakers may really have seen something in Nance to pick him with the 27th and not the 34th where most people think he would still be available. A role has probably already been laid out for the guy.
