I'd give him a B
#2 - Russell and Okafor are around the same to me, really couldn't mess this pick up unless we chose Porzingis
#27 - Nance is a reach, however I'm cautiously optimistic since it's clear we've scouted him for several years and other teams (namely the Spurs) are also high on him.
#34 - I like Brown a lot and he fills a need

Well, I like that the Lakers bucked the trend of big man above all else. The #2 always seems cursed, but this might counter that.

I don't understand with Nance pick, especially when BPA PF/SF still available and Nance projected to go in 50s.

so very mixed draft

Well we get Upshaw to play for us Summer League, so it's all okay. It doesn't matter we picked Upshaw with 34th and Brown with 27th and pickup Nance for SL.
