Bynum's knees and his trade to the Sixers

On the GB, some Sixer fans are comparing the Jrue Holiday fiasco to the Lakers trading Bynum to them without disclosing the severity his knee injuries. Is there any truth to this, or is this just a case of Sixer fans being salty/not wanting to blame their deity Hinkie for cheating.

bynum's knee issues were disclosed early to philadelphia
before the trade went down, bynum had his knees checked out by LA's doctors, philly's doctors, and two independent doctors
they all cleared him.
then after the trade went down, then bynum went bowling
philly had no one to blame except bynum

How could they not know? It was all over the media. Gary Vitti basically said he was always going to be an injury risk based on his skeletal structure. Then the medical checks...

We should go after Suns because of Steve Nash if this happens

If the Sixers are complaining about Bynum's knees, they are a bunch of idiots. How could you not know about his knee problems? They have been the main problems why he was injured throughout his Lakers career.
Oh yeah and bowling.

Yep, this. Everyone knew that Bynum had structural issues as well as his injury history. Sixers just being salty.

If Mitch Kupchak did something as heinous as this...
Give that man a raise! At worst it'll cost the team $3M in fines. Bynum would have cost the team a lot more.

Yup, this is what I figured. I mean, the fact that Bynum had glass knees was/is common knowledge.

yo, didn't Bynum just complete about his healthiest looking season for the Lakers, all the way to getting thrown out of the playoffs? so what happened after that? bowling? and ain't it interesting that Kobe talks him into going to Germany for the special knee procedure, but ends up skipping the trip himself? Phillyfan ain't really expecting the league to back him up here, but it's a healthy way to blow off a little steam.

Hinkie can go kick rocks.....we got nobody to blame but ourselves for giving up 2 1st rd picks for 38yr old pg with a history of back problems. Most avg nba fans knew bout bynum injury history

Pretty much this. There were always concerns regarding his knees, and the Sixers had plenty of time to check them out.

Everyone knew Bynum and Nash had injury concerns, and they got injured. Who'd a thunk it?? Philly made a mistake just like we did with Nash - End of story.

Nash broke his leg against the Nash Killer, Lillard, after the trade happened.
Bynum went bowling and lost interest after the fact the trade happened.
Hinkie drafted Okafor after the Lakers picked Russell.
Okafor dropped the Sixers jersey after taking photos.
Case closed.

Lakers failed to inform the 76ers about Bynum's passion for Bowling, a huge injury risk to players. Clearly we owe money.

Agree, I definitely remember Vitti going in full detail why Drew was having trouble with his knees. Anyway I would guess that this grievance is going to be heard by an NBA appointed arbitrator, I would think the Lakers have enough info to back them up.

Yep, but we're a little more classy than that so I doubt we would.
