Lakers should only trade for players or sign free agents with 1 year deals

It's best to keep that cap space for next year for Durant and another max free agent. Keep the dream alive. Call up the Pacers and try to resurrect Roy Hibbert's career.

This is precisely why Lakers can't get any FA. They probably offerred them all 1 to 2 year deals and none of them wanted such a short deal, they wanted more years, so it didn't work out. this is being so overblown.
