Will Jeanie fire Jim?

Just saw this on ESPN and didn't see a thread about it:
http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/13191079/los-angeles-lakers-team-president-jeanie-buss-says-brother-jim-resign-three-year-rebuilding-deadline-not-met
This was news to me, at least. Jeanie is saying that the other owning interests will have a say if the original 3-year plan crashes and burns.
If Jim has to go down, though, at least he nabbed the best player available in the draft. I could see him dropping 30 a game in 4 years.
